Beautiful cottage.
Positive: Beautiful cottage, the kitchen was well equipped, the air fryer was a great addition and the washer & dryer very handy. The house was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. Beautifully decorated, warm and very homely.
Negative: The bed was too small for my 6ft 2 partner, but due to the style of bedframe his feet hanging off the bed was super uncomfortable, so he got no sleep. Just a heads up for any other tall people. The doors being tiny is totally expected - so his head bruises are his own fault! A large frying pan would have been useful for eggs in the morning, but we managed with the wok.

Clean and comfortable, well equipped, but didn't realise road was that busy. Overall, good.
Positive: Wood burner was excellent!
Negative: Was sent wrong key box code which was stressful in cold and rain with no phone signal to make contact. A very kind neighbour was awesome letting me use their phone, calmed down after an hour or so.

Nice and cosy, but won’t be returning.
Positive: Facilities great. Warm and cosy. Shower great.
Negative: Road noise from 5am very frustrating. Parking issue with neighbours using the spaces outside the cottage so had to park further down. Every time!

Perfect little place to stay to unwind and take in the beauty of the Peak District
Positive: The house is situated in a quaint little village, very small with 2 cosy pubs. The house has nice views of fields from all front windows.
The lounge is comfortable with an excellent and simple to use log burner which makes it very warm.
We stayed in winter but the rear garden looked nice for warmer days, could imagine being sat out there having tea and a glass of wine. Bedrooms were fine for us as a couple with toddler and baby. Bathroom was spacious and the shower was excellent!
Quick drive to lots of local attractions and some of the busier towns like Matlock and Bakewell.
