Loved our stay at the Cottage on the Square
The Cottage was a lovely and convenient base for exploring Matlock and beyond. The beds were super comfy and we loved the decor especially the animal pictures. Our teenager was impressed with the stylish bathroom and wants us to change ours to look more like it.

Wonderful cottage in the Peak District
Positive: Really comfy, very cosy beds and lovely and warm. Ideally situated for Matlock and Bakewell and local walks. We will be back very soon!

What a charming cottage!
We loved our 2 night stay at The Cottage, Wensley. It was beautifully decorated and completely charming. It was warm and cosy (easy to boost heating as required and lots of hot water) and well equipped for self catering (large Sainsburys only 10 mins away in Matlock). We loved the fire but can imagine it's a lovely place to stay in Summer too.
