Great weekend getaway with friends
We recently stayed at Limestone Cottage at Alsop-en-le-Dale and everyone had a great time ! The cottage had more than enough room to accommodate the 10 of us that went and plenty of space for outdoor activities. The hot tub was a definitely a highlight and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Parking for 4 cars on the drive was perfect and shopping for groceries was not too far of a drive. We made the most of our time there and enjoyed it! Thank you very much for accommodating us!

We had an amazing stay at Limestone Cottage. The house exceeded our expectations and was perfect for our group of 7 adults and 3 doggies! There are plenty of fantastic walking routes right from the doorstep. All bedrooms were of great size, the living areas spacious, and everything we needed was provided, including a lovely welcome basket from the host. We couldn't recommend it enough to others.

Peak District Stay - Family of 6
Absolutely loved our break at Limestone Cottage. Stunning location, perfect for exploring the area and gorgeous countryside views. The property was a perfect size for our large family and equipped with everything we needed. My son loved the games room and we really enjoyed chilling in both the sun room and hot tub (stunning views) after a busy day walking. Highly recommend; we will definitely be back x

What a lovely cottage!
We were here in June 2025 as a central palce in the country for 5 old friends to have a catch up for a few days.
It is a well situated (many public footpaths and cycling trails nearby) and very peaceful cottage. It is well equipped and the welcome package with essentials such as coffee. milk and cleaning products (as well as the wine) was much appreciated.
There are 4 bedrooms some of which can be split into single beds (which suited us perfectly) and there was even a 'day bed' in the conservatory to boot, so sleeping arrangements for 5 male friends was not an issue.
The cottage is very spacious with ampe seating for watching telly, or quiet reading and contemplation.
Plus, the games room in the garden would bea perfect hit with the kids (and us big kids) whils the adults relax the evening away soaking up hte sights in the hot tub.
I would not hesitate to reccommend this cottage as a place to stay in the Peak District and will certainly be coming back soon.
