What a lovely cottage!
We were here in June 2025 as a central palce in the country for 5 old friends to have a catch up for a few days.
It is a well situated (many public footpaths and cycling trails nearby) and very peaceful cottage. It is well equipped and the welcome package with essentials such as coffee. milk and cleaning products (as well as the wine) was much appreciated.
There are 4 bedrooms some of which can be split into single beds (which suited us perfectly) and there was even a 'day bed' in the conservatory to boot, so sleeping arrangements for 5 male friends was not an issue.
The cottage is very spacious with ampe seating for watching telly, or quiet reading and contemplation.
Plus, the games room in the garden would bea perfect hit with the kids (and us big kids) whils the adults relax the evening away soaking up hte sights in the hot tub.
I would not hesitate to reccommend this cottage as a place to stay in the Peak District and will certainly be coming back soon.

Lovely Stay for my Birthday!
Fantastic cottage with a great location. Claire was also very helpful throughout the entire process and responded to all our requests. A truly spectacular find should you happen to get fortunate enough to have sunny weather as we did. We enjoyed the full garden space which was also great for our dog as the garden is completely enclosed. My only note would be that there was 10 of us and we brought food for 2 days, the fridge is quite small to accommodate a large amount of food and that's even with using the multiple drinks fridges to store anything that wasn't food. Apart from that small detail, I would highly recommend for a getaway with family and friends.

Beautiful house, great location
We had a great stay. The house is very well equipped especially for families - nights lights, stair gates, well stocked kitchen, games etc. we enjoyed the hot tub and garden room. The house is also beautifully done and very spacious. It’s so peaceful here - not suitable for parties and rowdy groups, especially as it’s semi detached - but perfect for a family escape.

Magical place to hang out for a few days
Positive: Clear communication, lovely welcome pack, great hot tub, comfortable beds, loads of space. Beautiful area with big skies, rolling hills and open fields.
Negative: A few cobwebs on the ceiling, dirty towel hung behind the door in one of the bedrooms and a few bits on the floor meant that attention to detail could have been a bit better. No blind in the bathroom, leaky upstairs shower. But these were just details, the place was great.
